Don't buy from a Jew - antisemitism according to Anne Applebaum

Israel - Propaganda of anti-Semitism

Anne Applebaum, wife of Radosław Sikorski, polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, during an exchange of views on the X portal about the pilgrimage of nationalist circles to Jasna Góra, called its participants ‘neo-Nazis’. Further - using the ‘anti-Semitism card’ and the ‘Holocaust card’, she hit out at Poles promoting the purchase of local products, writing:

Also this kind of thing - calling for people to "Buy Polish", just like before the war, when the slogan was "don't buy from the Jews", doesn't look good either.

The pre-war slogans "Don't buy from a Jew" and similar slogans were one of the beginnings of the German ethnic cleansing of Jews, resulting in deportation to death camps and mass extermination in German-occupied Europe.
