The Jewish police had a very bad opinion even before the deportation. Unlike the Polish police, which did not take part in the round-ups to the labor camp, the Jewish police did this hideous job. It also stood out for its terrible corruption and demoralization. However, it did not reach the bottom of wickedness until the time of the deportation. Not a word of protest was made against the disgusting function of leading his brothers to the slaughter.

The police were spiritually prepared for this dirty job and therefore diligently performed it. Currently, the brain struggles to solve the puzzle: how did it happen that Jews – mostly intellectuals, former lawyers (most of the officers were lawyers before the war) – laid a hand on the extermination of their brothers themselves. How did the Jews ever drag children and women, the elderly and the sick on carts, knowing that they were all going to the slaughter (…). The cruelty of the Jewish police was very often greater than that of the Germans, Ukrainians and Latvians. Not one hiding place was “discovered” by the Jewish police, which always wanted to be plus “catholique que le pape” to please the occupiers. The victims who disappeared from the sight of the German were caught by a Jewish policeman (…). The Jewish police showed evidence of incomprehensible, savage brutality. Why is this rage among our Jews? When have we raised so many hundreds of killers who catch children in the streets, throw them on carts and drag them to the Umschlag? It was simply common for these robbers to throw women onto carts by the hands and feet (…).
